Briefly Keeping You in the Loop
Briefly, since my last update, this is what I've done:
Spent some time in the north bit of the south island of NZ, then finished my
time off in the Capitol City of Wellington, on the north island, enjoying the
hospitality of some new friends I'd met along the way.
And finally it was time to head back to Oz. Using the friends of friends contacts
that keep the world turning, I managed to rent myself a full apartment for a
week for less than the price of a bed in a hostel. I had a bedroom with a full-size
bed, a bathroom, a kitchen to myself, and a TV! I almost didn't leave. But at
the end of the week, I followed through on another friendly offer to spend a
week on a charter boat in the Whitsunday Islands. And that too will be expanded
upon at this site in the near future.
Arriving back in Melbourne after that fun-filled week, I almost immediately
flew down to Tazmania for a week. And I'm just in the process of detailing that
one for you now. Then it was back to Melbourne for two days before leaving for
good on a tour of the Great Ocean Road and the Grampian Mountain Range.
And now here I find myself in Adelaide trying to decide the best way to see
everything else that I want to see in the time I have to see it in. Adelaide,
Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth, Broome, and the West coast. Not necessarily in
that order. But I think big things are in order. Big things, and good times.
Consider yourself up to date.
